Free parking is available onsite. Upto 2 Cars can be parked.

Is there an aquaguard for drinking water supply? Do we need to carry our own Mineral Water bottles or are these readily available at your villa?

Yes, we have a steady supply of filtered drinking water.

Is Alcohol allowed? Are there any corkage charges?

Yes, alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. There are no corkage charges.

Is outside food allowed? Are we allowed to cook ourselves?

Guests can order/ bring food from outside. Cleaning charges of Rs. 1000 per day will be applicable.

Is smoking / alcohol consumption permitted?

Smoking strictly prohibited inside the home; it is allowed only in outdoor areas. Alcohol consumption within limits is permitted, but we discourage late-night revelry and loud music.

What are the Check-in & Check-out timings? May I request for late check-outs or an early check-in?

Check-in time is at 2 pm and check-out time is 11 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we must ready the rooms for our next booking. Guests are requested to respect the timing of other guests as well. If you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us when booking. Additional charges will be applied.

What formalities are needed during check-in and check-out?

As required by law, all adults have to provide their government-approved Photo IDs (that clearly show their residential address) at the time of Check-in. Your co-operation is of utmost importance to us.

Are we allowed to access all areas?

No. Guests will only be able to access common areas on the property such as the living room, garden, private pool (if any), etc. Guests are strictly prohibited from crossing into neighboring properties under any circumstances. We request our guests to respect the privacy and personal space of our neighbours.

We're planning to drive down. Are the roads good? Any specific things we need to know?

The roads to our property are good, but we recommend checking weather conditions before your trip. Our home is cool and breezy year-round, making it a perfect destination anytime.

If I'm driving, will there be any toll fees applicable?

Yes. Please note that toll charges are subject to change, depending on the authorities and the type of vehicle. Guests are requested to carry sufficient cash to cover the toll charge.

Are stag groups allowed to book this home?

Bachelor groups & stag are allowed but at a higher Security Deposit.

Can I reserve your Home for a Film/ Photo/ Advertisement shoot?

Events are allowed only with prior notice and approval. Meals are available at an extra cost per person per day. The villa accommodates upto 12 people overnight. Pool access and loud music (during limited hours) require approval. Additional charges and a refundable deposit may apply. Guests must obtain necessary permissions for shoots/functions. Can I pay 50% now and pay the remaining 50% closer to the date?

Unfortunately, there is no option for part payment. Guests are required to pay 100% of the payment before check-in.

How can I make a payment?

Once you have chosen your dates and your booking has been accepted, you will receive a payment link where the payment can be processed. In case you're unable to make an online payment through the link, you could also deposit the cash in our bank account directly. We also offer other options like NEFT/IMPS or UPI.

Does SaffronStays accept cash payments?

No. All payments for booking the villa, including meals, will have to be pre-paid prior to check-in. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth. Please note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.

How and when do I pay for the Security Deposit and how and when is it returned to me?

Security deposit is to be paid two days prior to check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned during check-out itself or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out.

What is the cancellation policy?

If the Guest cancels the booking anywhere before 21 days before the check-in date, they are entitled to a 100% refund. If the Guest cancels the booking anywhere between 21-11 days before the check-in date, they are entitled to a 50% refund. For any cancellations made after 11 days to the check-in date, there would be no refund. If the Guest has made a partial payment, he/ she is not entitled to any refund whatsoever. All cancellation policies are overridden if a guest uses the “NOCANCEL” coupon while booking. The guest is not entitled to any refund and will have to pay a 100% rescheduling fee in the event of the same. Cancellations for peak dates such as Independence Day (15th Aug), Diwali (29th Oct to 10th Nov), Christmas and New Year (24th Dec to 2nd Jan), and Republic Day (26th Jan) will not be accepted. A nominal 2.75% convenience fee would be deducted from the refund amount for processing of the cancellation.

How many extra mattresses can be provided?

1 extra mattress per room can be arranged onsite. Our home has adequate bed sheets, blankets, and pillows for extra bedding.

What type of beds, mattresses do you have?

Our bedrooms have lovely queen-sized beds.

Do you provide toiletries and bath towels?

Yes, we provide toiletries like soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and towels.

Is the Home air-conditioned?

Yes, all of our bedrooms are air-conditioned. The living room also has an AC.

Does the villa face frequent power outages? Are there any invertors or gensets to address this issue?

Our diesel-powered generator will promptly kick in to deal with any power outages.

Do you have a problem with mosquitoes? How do you deal with it to make our stay more comfortable?

All rooms have mosquito repellents. Guests are advised to shut the windows between 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm to avoid mosquitoes and insects from entering the home.

Is there Internet/ 4G/ WiFi connection available onsite?

Yes, the villa has a WiFi connection across the estate. There is adequate network connectivity, if not 4G then 3G.

Are the premises monitored using CCTVs?

Yes, there are CCTV cameras installed in the living room, common areas and outside sections. Private bedrooms and bathrooms are not monitored.

Can stray dogs enter the premises?

No, the home is within a fenced area. However, should a stray dog enter, inform the caretaker and he will address the issue.

Is the property properly fenced? Is there a boundary wall?

Yes, our home has a stone wall surrounding the premises.

Is there First-aid kit available at your Home?

Yes, we do have a first-aid kid onsite, stocked with Dettol, band-aids and over-the-counter medicines like Metacin, Crocin etc.

Is the villa and its surroundings well lit up?

The villa is well lit up. There is enough lighting even in the surrounding areas i.e lawns, grounds.

Is the place pet-friendly?

No, this home is not pet-friendly. You can browse other pet-friendly homes on the website.

Is this home child-friendly?

Yes, our home is child-friendly. There is plenty of space to run around and many indoor activities that will keep your children occupied. There is also a basic first-aid kit, stocked with Dettol, band-aids, etc., for minor injuries. Parents are advised to be cautious when allowing kids to run around.

What can we do for fun around the property?

Visit Chapora Fort: This historic fort offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the Chapora River and the Arabian Sea. Relax at Anjuna Beach: Just a short drive away, Anjuna Beach is known for its laid-back vibe, beach shacks, and occasional flea markets. It's a great spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Explore the Saturday Night Market: If you're in Parra over the weekend, don't miss the vibrant Saturday Night Market in nearby Arpora. It's filled with stalls selling everything from handicrafts to clothing and delicious street food. Take a Spice Plantation Tour: Goa is famous for its spice plantations, and you can take a guided tour to learn about the various spices grown in the region, such as pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon. Is there a pool and what's the depth/ length of the pool?

Yes, there is a private pool swimming pool. Pool timings are between 9 am to 7 pm. Pool Size: Length: 15ft, Width: 10ft, Max Depth: 5ft. The water is chlorinated. As there is no lifeguard on hand, guests are advised to be cautious (especially around kids) and to refrain from swimming late at night. Our pool is available for poolside parties. However, we recommend keeping alcohol, food, and glass bottles away from the pool to avoid accidents.

Is there a beach close by and is it clean and safe?

Hotspots like Vagator Beach and Anjuna Beach are just a 15-minute drive away, or immerse yourself in vibrant Goan life at Assagao, only 7 minutes by car.
