The sprawling pantry and dining area with a breakfast counter and a bar is where one could just relax on the sofa sipping coffee from a choice of Nespresso, filter or French press, or indulge in an assortment of teas. In both villas, the pantry has all the essentials like the fridge, hot water kettle, microwave, cutting board, cheese platters and knives, wine and whiskey glasses, wine bottle openers to customised crockery from Potters Shed, a local pottery studio which is microwaveable and rustic. The repurposed dining table which was once a door, the picnic photos over the console and grandfather's wooden chair all echo memories of the bygone era. 

Home-cooked food made fresh from the bungalow kitchen with utmost care is reflected in the ever-changing extensive menu. A breakfast at SaffronStays Dunnottar North By Kodai Lake celebrates local condiments and homemade bread, eggs to order and an Indian dish that completes the meal. Served either indoors in the dining room in the garden or in the pizza patio the first meal of the day never fails to satiate!
