A Peaceful property where we felt at home away from home. The food was awesome (special mention - Basant's hospitality & Cooking) The staff was courteous. Ample of space inside and outside for the kids, they enjoyed the pool. Can enjoy birds chirping..star gazing at night. The house dog, Tommy was fun, the kids enjoyed his company....read more
The Champa flower holds a special place for some, but full-bloomed Champa trees hold a special place for all. 9 Palms is a very spacious Villa with extremely well manicured surrounds . The Villa looked outwards with all rooms facing the green lawns . I preferred the room with a poster bed and a jhula as it added a very vintage character to the space . The central space was apt for gathering around ,playing board games or just generally having a chat . The approach was comfortable as saffronstays got us in touch with a trusted local rickshaw guy .The staff were very welcoming and helped us settle in for our mini vacay. The food was to die for and Basant, the cook ,deserves a special mention . The facilities were well maintained and hygienic. I look forward to making another visit to 9 Palms and recommend it highly to all reading this ....read more
The stay was amazing! the property, care takers were excellent. The villa, pool, surrounding areas are very well maintained. Would definitely recommend as a must visit. however, below are the few areas of concerns: 1. Care takers number, required details which were asked for from the host were not provided post multiple followups over email, text messages and calls as well. 2. Directions to the venue need to be more precise. Overall, it was a good experience! ...read more
The Villa is a really beautifully designed place, good ambience and excellent hygene levels. It is also well maintained. Only drawback is availability of Food at short notice. although A/C microwave and refrigerator was provided, they were not working most of the time possibly due to power fluctuation. All in all, this is a excellent place to visit with your family and we have a memorable time. ...read more
Hi. I just came back yesterday from here. Celebrated my Birthday during the weekend. The house is absolutely fantastic. We went WOW as soon as we entered and were in the pool within 15 mins. The caretaker Naseem was very polite and helpful. Ask for the person who can provide you home cooked meals. It was very tasty & not expensive. Cons: 1] Cooking wasnt allowed in the premises [We wanted to do BBQ in the night] 2] Out of the 4 huge rooms 2 didnt have AC's, but it was fine with us since we used only 2 rooms and 8 of us easily slept in one room [Yes !! it was that huge] but incase if there were more that would be a problem. 3] They charged for minimum 13 people. So if there are less people you still end up paying for 13 people. Since originally we were suppose to be 14 people but ended up only with 10 + 1 kid. But we still had to pay the whole amount. They should make it per person or the no. of rooms used kinda thing. But its not a deal breaker because the villa is worth a weekend stay with family & friends. Thankyou Saffron Stays for lovely & memorable birthday weekend !!!! :) Manoj Mathew. ...read more
