Is the villa suitable for a day picnic?

Yes, the home has a lawn area, a verandah with a swing within the premises that could be used for outdoor picnic activities. Meals will be provided on site at an additional charge (per person, per meal). During the day, guests will be allowed to use the washrooms and other amenities at the villa. The home is also stocked with indoor games like UNO, monopoly, Twister etc.

Are meals provided onsite? What are the charges?

We offer simple home-cooked meals prepared using locally sourced fresh ingredients. Meals are available at an additional cost of Rs. 1,400 (veg) per person, per day and Rs. 1,600 (non-veg) per person, per day. Meal charges for children are Rs. 1,000 (veg) per child, per day and Rs. 1,000 (non-veg) per child, per day. Seafood and Mutton preparation can be availed at an additional cost and is subject to availability. Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge.

Is Alcohol allowed? Are there any corkage charges?

Yes, alcohol consumption is permitted within limits.

Is outside food allowed? Are we allowed to cook ourselves?

Outside food is not allowed. Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen. However, mothers of infants or small children will have limited access to boiled milk or prepare their kid's meals.

What is the type of cuisine served?

We offer authentic, home-fresh meals. We have a standard menu and our Care Team rep will help you craft the perfect combination once you have booked your stay. Please do share your meal preferences and dietary requirements, if any, when the team reaches out to you.

What are the Check-in & Check-out timings? May I request for late check-outs or an early check-in?

Check-in time at 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we need to ready the rooms for our next booking. In case you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us at the time of booking. Additional charges will be applied.

What formalities are needed during check-in and check-out?

As required by law, all adults have to provide their government-approved Photo IDs (that clearly show their residential address) at the time of Check-in. Your co-operation is of utmost importance to us.

Are stag groups allowed to book this home?

No. We do not allow stag groups to book this home.

What is the cancellation policy?

A Guest is entitled to a refund of 75% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 15 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM). A Guest is entitled to a refund of 50% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 7 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM) If the Guest cancels within 7 days of the Date of Check-In, he/she is entitled to no refund.

Can I pay 50% now and pay the remaining 50% closer to the date?

Unfortunately, there is no option for part payment. Guests are required to pay 100% of the payment before check-in.

How can I make a payment?

All payments for booking the villa, including meals will have to be pre-paid prior to checkin. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth. Please note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.

How and when do I pay for the Security Deposit and how and when is it returned to me?

A security deposit of Rs. 5,000 per room is to be paid online two days prior to the check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned after check-out within 5 business days by NEFT.

Do guests have to pay extra for pets?

Yes. Guests have to pay Rs 800 per pet, plus extra for meals, if requested.

Are pets allowed inside the room?

Yes. Pets are allowed in the bedroom, but not inside the bathroom. Guests must be responsible for their pets and any damage caused to the property shall be deducted from the Security Deposit.

Do you provide food and water bowls for pets?

No, we do not provide food and water bowls for pets.

What facility do you provide for pet hygiene?

Pet parents must clean up themselves. Guests are requested to carry their own medication for their pets. No bathing facility for pets is provided for pets in our homes.

What are the meal options for pets?

We offer boiled chicken, rice, fish, vegetables, or chappati for lunch and dinner at a cost of Rs 250 per meal, per pet. Please inform our caretaker of your pet's food habits 2 days prior to Check-In. We do not store or serve packaged food for the pets.

Do you provide toiletries and bath towels?

Yes, we provide toiletries like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, towels etc.

Is the Home air-conditioned?

Yes, all of the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Does the villa face frequent power outages? Are there any invertors or gensets to address this issue?

Yes, we have a backup inverter in case of rare occasions of power failure. Guests are requested to switch off the ACs during power outages as it consumes more power. Diesel charges for genset usage in case of power outage will be charged for the first 4 hrs as per genset capacity and actuals.

How many extra mattresses can be provided?

For extra guests, 10 extra floor mattresses can be arranged onsite. Our home has adequate bed sheets, blankets and pillows for extra bedding.

Is there a security guard / watchman?

There are 2 caretakers at the property.

Can stray dogs enter the premises?

No, the home is within a fenced area. However, should a stray dog enter, inform the caretaker and he will address the issue.

Is there First-aid kit available at your Home?

Yes, we do have a first-aid kid onsite, stocked with Dettol, band-aids and over-the-counter medicines like Metacin, Crocin etc.

Are the premises monitored using CCTVs?

Yes, there are CCTV cameras installed in the parking area, backyard, lawn and by the pool. Private bedrooms and bathrooms are not monitored.

Property can be reached by jetty from Mumbai's Gateway of India to Mandwa Port, the same jetty service company has a bus which will drop you at Kankeshwar Phata.

Is this home child-friendly?

Yes, our Home is child friendly. There is plenty of open space to run around and many indoor activities that will keep your children occupied. The home has instead been stocked with books and board games. There is also a basic first-aid kit, stocked with Dettol, band-aids, etc., for minor injuries. Parents are advised to be cautious when allowing kids to run around.

Is this home senior citizen friendly?

Yes, our home is senior citizen/elderly friendly. Three of the 5 bedrooms are on the ground floor, which are easily accessible by seniors. All three rooms have private bathrooms.

Is the place pet-friendly?

Yes, this is a pet-friendly villa. Pets will be charged at an additional cost of Rs. 500 per pet. A refundable deposit may also be applied. Pets are not allowed on any of the furniture and will be restricted to the verandah area. Pet owners need to carry along food and bedding for their pets. In the event that guests cannot carry their own pet food, the caretaker will be available to cook and payment for the actuals will need to done at the property itself. Pets are not allowed in the pool.

What can we do for fun around the property?

Loiter around in the several balconies and terraces - a luxury you rarely witness in city homes. Enjoy a games night with your loved ones with indoor games such as carrom, pool and more. Let your pets run around the verdant lawn and feel one with nature. Enjoy cherished milestones or private date nights with a charming setup that can be arranged on the lawn. Guests are requested to share prior intimation for the same. The villa is located 15 mins from Kihim Beach and is located close to the Kankeshwar Temple. The Revdanda Fort and Karmarkar Museum are close to 30 minutes away from the home

Is there a pool and what's the depth/ length of the pool?

Yes, there is a private pool in the premises. Pool timings are between 8 am to 8 pm. As there is no lifeguard on hand, guests are advised to be cautious (especially around kids) and to refrain from swimming late at night.

Is there a beach close by and is it clean and safe?

The villa is located 15 minutes from Kihim Beach. The tides are safe, but we recommend you to enjoy the waves from a distance post sunset.
