The property is located in Godavali village near Panchgani. The property is breathtakingly beautiful and offers amazing views from every corner. it has 2 bedrooms with attached big clean bathrooms. The caretakers Mr Santosh Malusare and his wife are very welcoming and they sure know how to keep their guests happy. They cook lip smacking tasty homemade food. Once you step inside you wouldnt want to go out from the property. Kid and elder friendly. it has good books, kids games inlcluding Jenga. Everything about the property is just WOW! will love to go back again....read more
Its a beautiful and remote place. Great view. Villa is splendid. The road to leading to the place is a little bad and can be worse in the rains. We visited in July first week and were kind of relieved it had not rained or our car would be stuck in the slush. The property is just mind blowing and caretakers are very friendly and nice. Food they serve is homely and nice. Cost is also very affordable. We had a great time and felt totally relaxed at the end of our stay....read more
It was an amazing experience. The location and place is beautiful. The caretakers are very friendly and hospitable. The last couple of yards of the approach road is rough and hence during monsoon it could be a trouble. But once you reach the place, it is like coming back home....read more
Two days of stay over here which is close to nature was an amazing experience. This is the right place for relaxing and unwinding. A very well maintained property with good amenities. Enjoyed the tasty homely food. This can be a best choice for a family get together if any one is opting Panchgani for an outing....read more
If you are from a city and want to escape the perpetual mindlessness, then just go here. As the name suggests, you will not be disappointed by the Verandah. Relax, sit down with a drink, and just stare into the endless horizon. It is beautiful, simply put. The sunrise is even better (this is testimony under oath from a lazy bugger). There are two rooms, but, they can accommodate more people. The stay is homely; you get good home-cooked meals courtesy the caretaker, Santosh, and his wife. Santosh is a great host and helped us by putting up a fire in the chilly night around which we spent most of our time. The place is adjacent to a village and the tranquility will make you clamor for more in your daily life. The rooms are basic--not much fanfare there. But, they are comfortable. I think a little amount of refurbishing in one bathroom (which I heard is due soon) will help in the days to come. Simply put, a great experience. Like the name suggests, it is one peaceful place to spend your days. To soak in the atmosphere, I would suggest that people should stay at least for two nights here. Anything less is just not fair. Btw, they also have a few books and board games to spend time....read more
We had a really great stay, the helpers are very helpful and accommodating. The place is beautiful, and the view is breathtaking. The road to reach there is a little rocky, so you have to be careful of that. You can also visit the locally owned strawberry farms and other farms too....read more
This review has been long pending from my end...!!! I visited verandah in Feb '17 for SaffornStays' weekend strawberry fest. We reached the place really early at 5:30am on a Saturday by the bus & the organizer, Vinda was already up to drive us to the place from the bus depot. This place is wonderful & helps you chillax whenever you go. There are multiple corners at this home like the swing, terrace, sofa in the verandah where you can sit for hours, look at the view, do nothing & yet feel happy. We were joined later by the chef, Sai & owner of SaffornStays Tejas. The place, program participants & organizers were extremely approachable & made us feel home. Vinda even gave her car to us for a visit to the market as we had no vehicle. The cooking session was fun followed by lots of tasty food & start gazing from the terrace. The highlight of this program was fresh strawberry picking from the strawberry farm! The best vacation is that which has a beautiful location, great service, good food & happy faces around to always help you. And SaffornStays' program was just that! Thank you for a lovely stay & some weight-gain [(thanks to yummy food ;)]...read more
Our stay at the Villa was outstanding. The Villa is placed beautifully on the hilltop with mesmerising view of the breathtaking mountains which was the most relaxing & stressfree moment for us. The view is so very outstanding which cannot be expressed in words. You need to stay at the villa at least once to realise its beauty. The morning sunrise was amazing. Best interiors and well maintained property. The home made food prepared by the caretakers was yummy & delicious. Caretakers were so simple, friendly and helpful, they really deserve a big THANK YOU. Really appreciated. Nearby farms were also very beautiful. We must say, this was one of the most memorable & mesmerising stay at Verandah. We enjoyed a lot and will cherish & treasure these beautiful memories forever. We would surely like to come again to stay at this beautiful Villa. Last but not the least, our only feedback to the coordinators is that they should attend customers calls promptly and not juz communicate on watsup as there are many things which cannot be communicated thro watsup always. Rest all, was absolutely excellent 5 star to this Villa. Thanks (from Monali, Priyanka, Arpana, Shailaja & Prajakta)...read more
'Verandah by the Valley' is a very apt name for this beautiful place. Calm and decent, this is the perfect getaway from the daily hustle bustle of the city. Given its size, the Verandah is best suited for group of 4 or more, but even couples can spend some private time here like we did on our 9th anniversary. Friendly host, a very helping and lovely care taker family, excellent facilities, and more than anything else, the captivating scenic beauty of the location makes the stay a most memorable one. Definitely one of the best places I have been to (and I have been to quite a few). Most recommended to anyone looking to spend some quality time in nature's lap....read more
I went to Verandah by the Valley with my friends and family for my birthday weekend. The location is slightly difficult to find and the road is not paved. But once you reach there, you will not want to leave! The place is as beautiful as in the pictures. The caretakers are great and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The hosts also called and checked if we were fine and needed anything. The place is clean and the location is great. Its a great place to be away from the city hustle bustle. I wish we had more days to spend. ...read more
I visited during week day and I loved the stay there. We wanted a peaceful and homely stay during our this short vacation and we got it. I was travelling with a senior citizens and a kid and it was quite easy to manage both....read more
