Our family of three stayed at Tridiva for three days from 21 st to 23 rd of May 2017.We were on a birding tour that began at Rishikesh ,followed by Chopta and next was Gwaldham. Our intent of a combination of birding, tracking and leisure was perfectly realized at Tridiva, the most comfortable homestay we've enjoyed compared to many others we've previously stayed at. The ambiance of the house is beautiful, with lovely artifacts and soft furnishings very artistically placed. There are three rooms which are very tastefully done up ,especially the beds and the linen. The house can accommodate 8 to 10 people easily with 2 extra beds in the master bedroom on the ground floor with two bathrooms. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with one common bathroom between them. There is a loft bed which is ideally for a young person. The massive windows in the living room lets you enjoy the views of the snow capped mountains and the birds uninterrupted. There are a lot of open area around the house to just sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility. I want to dedicate a major chunk of this review to the one man army of Pradeep, the caretaker of the house. It was simply amazing how this man did almost everything singlehandedly, from carrying our luggage up the steep climb ,to keeping the house immaculately clean to preparing..(https://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g2137514-d11847754-r490261454-SaffronStays_Tridiva-Gwaldam_Chamoli_District_Uttarakhand.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT) ...

I travelled with my father and we always love visiting places that are off the beaten track where one can holiday in peace, away from the noise, chaos and dirt of the tourist places. We stayed in SaffronStays Tridiva for 3 nights, at the beginning and the end of our 5 day long trek in the Uttarakhand Himalayas. The house makes you feel extremely comfortable while allowing you to enjoy the tranquility, the seclusion and the exquisite views of the mountains. The living room has a fireplace and a huge glass window that provides panoramic views of the Nanda Devi Range. I loved the decor including the warm colourful fabrics, geodes, artefacts and wall art, making it a beautifully welcoming place. The house is a 2-3 minute walk up the hill, which I absolutely loved. The cook here makes delicious Pahadi local food and we ended up eating three times more than we normally do! I cannot wait to go back to Tridiva along with some friends and also take them for one of the many treks in the surrounding mountains. SaffronStays Tridiva allows you to try something adventurous while ensuring you do so in the most comfortable manner....
