Is the villa suitable for a day picnic?

Yes, the home has a garden/lawn area within the premises that could be used for outdoor picnic activities.

Is parking available onsite or nearby?

Free parking for up to 3 cars is available onsite.

Can I book only one or two rooms, or do I need to book the entire Home?

No, you cannot book just one room. You would need to book the entire home.

Are meals provided onsite? What are the charges?

In case the guests choose to have lunch and dinner at the villa, a chef can be hired (subject to availability) at an additional cost of Rs. 3500 per day with ingredients charged as per actuals. Guests can also use the kitchen to prepare their own meals; the kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, crockery, cutlery and an induction stove. Guests will have to purchase their own ingredients. Should you choose to order from outside or use the kitchen to cook for yourself, a corkage charge of Rs. 1,000 will be applied per day. Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge.

Is Alcohol allowed? Are there any corkage charges?

Yes, alcohol consumption is permitted within limits.

Is there an aquaguard for drinking water supply? Do we need to carry our own Mineral Water bottles or are these readily available at your villa?

Yes, there is a steady water supply and RO purifier on-site.

Is smoking / alcohol consumption permitted?

Yes, smoking is allowed but strictly not inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside in the garden/lawn area. Alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. We do not encourage late night revelry or loud music.

Weâ€™re planning to drive down. Are the roads good? Any specific things we need to know?

While roads connecting to the property are good, guests are advised to check the road and weather conditions before leaving for a road trip.

Are stag groups allowed to book this home?

No. We do not allow stag groups to book this home.

What is the cancellation policy?

A Guest is entitled to a refund of 75% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 15 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM). A Guest is entitled to a refund of 50% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 7 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM) If the Guest cancels within 7 days of the Date of Check-In, he/she is entitled to no refund.

How and when do I pay for the Security Deposit and how and when is it returned to me?

A security deposit of Rs. 5,000 per room is to be paid online two days prior to the check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned after check-out within 5 business days by NEFT.

Can I redeem any offers while booking this home?

No. Members cannot redeem their nights, utilise their privileges, or avail any offers while booking this home.

How can I make a payment?

All payments for booking the villa, including meals will have to be pre-paid prior to checkin. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth. Please note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.

Do guests have to pay extra for pets?

Yes. Guests have to pay Rs 500 per pet, plus extra for meals, if requested.

Are pets allowed inside the room?

Yes. Pets are allowed in the bedroom, but not inside the bathroom. Guests must be responsible for their pets and any damage caused to the property shall be deducted from the Security Deposit.

How many extra mattresses can be provided?

Four extra floor mattresses can be arranged onsite. Our home has adequate bed sheets, blankets and pillows for extra bedding.

What type of beds, mattresses do you have?

Our bedrooms have lovely queen-sized/king-sized beds. All our mattresses have mattress protectors.

Do you provide toiletries and bath towels?

Yes, we provide toiletries like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and towels.

Is the Home air-conditioned?

Yes, all of our bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Is there a security guard / watchman?

There are 2 caretakers at the property.

Are the premises monitored using CCTVs?

Yes, there are CCTV cameras installed in the common areas.

SaffronStays Seaview Soiree is approximately a 2-hour drive from Mumbai. Alternatively, you can take a train to Bhayandar and get down on the west side. Once you get down, you can either book a cab or auto directly to the villa. It is about approx. 30 mins from the station.

Is this home child-friendly?

Yes, our home is child-friendly.

Is the place pet-friendly?

This is a pet-friendly villa. Pets will be charged at an additional cost of Rs. 500 per pet per day. A refundable deposit may also be applied. Pets are not allowed on any of the furniture, bed or poolÂ and will be restricted to the verandah area. Pet owners need to carry along food and bedding for their pets.Â Pets are not allowed in the pool.

Is the villa wheelchair accessible?

No, our home is not wheelchair accessible.

Is there a beach close by and is it clean and safe?

Yes, both Uttan and Gorai beach are about 15 mins drive from home.

Are there water bodies nearby (such as a pond/ river/ lake etc)?

Yes, there is Lake Margelly nearby.

Is there a pool and what's the depth/ length of the pool?

Yes, there is a private pool at the villa. Our pool is available for poolside parties. However, we recommend keeping alcohol, food and glass bottles away from the pool to avoid accidents.
