What is the type of cuisine served?

We offer authentic, home-fresh meals. We have a standard menu and our Care Team rep will help you craft the perfect combination once you have booked your stay. Please do share your meal preferences and dietary requirements, if any, when the team reaches out to you.

Is outside food allowed? Are we allowed to cook ourselves?

Allowed outside food. However, there are no delivery channels available in the locality. The caretaker can guide you with the nearby FnB outlets.

Can I pay the caretaker some extra money and request the Cook to prepare fish or mutton dishes for us?

Yes. In case you would like the caretaker to cook a special dish, you can pay him for the actuals and cooking, cleaning fee on site, in cash. Please note that this will be subject to availability of ingredients.

Is there an aquaguard for drinking water supply? Do we need to carry our own Mineral Water bottles or are these readily available at your villa?

Yes, we have a steady supply of filtered drinking water.

Is Alcohol allowed? Are there any corkage charges?

Yes, alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. There are no corkage charges.

What are the Check-in & Check-out timings? May I request for late check-outs or an early check-in?

Check-in time is at 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we need to ready the property for our next booking. Guests are requested to respect the timing of other guests as well. In case you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us at the time of booking. Additional charges will be applied.

What formalities are needed during check-in and check-out?

As required by law, all guests have to provide their government-approved Photo IDs (that clearly show their residential address) at the time of Check-in. Your co-operation is of utmost importance to us.

Is smoking / alcohol consumption permitted?

Yes, smoking is allowed but strictly not inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside in the garden/lawn area. Alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. We do not encourage late night revelry or loud music.

How do we reach your villa by public transport?

The best way to reach our home is by a private car/ taxi. If you would like to travel by public transport, the best route would be: Bus: State Transport buses Train: Mumbai- Goa Express etc. Air: The closest airport is Mumbai / Goa.

Who manages the villa?

The caretaker lives nearby and arrives at 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Do you provide toiletries and bath towels?

Yes, we provide toiletries like soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and towels.

What type of beds, mattresses do you have?

Our bedrooms have lovely queen-sized/king-sized beds.

How many extra mattresses can be provided?

1 extra mattresses can be arranged onsite. Our home has adequate bed sheets, blankets and pillows for extra bedding.

Does the villa face frequent power outages? Are there any invertors or gensets to address this issue?

Yes, we have a backup inverter in case of rare occasions of power failure.

Can monkeys enter the premises?

Yes, as the home is surrounded by dense trees there is possibility where you can encounter monkeys. Please refrain from eating and leaving valuable things outside. Make sure kids are not left unattended while roaming outside.

Is there First-aid kit available at your Home?

Yes, we do have a first-aid kid onsite, stocked with Dettol, band-aids and over-the-counter medicines like Metacin, Crocin etc.

Is this home senior citizen friendly?

No, our home is not senior citizen/elderly friendly as there are stairs to reach the property.

From Dehradun, take the Mussoorie road. Once you reach Picture Palace, turn towards Landour. Proceed past Landour Market and continue driving towards Char Dukan. As you cross the Doma's cafe on the left watch for the security gaurd check-post of Woodstock school on the right. The property is located 500 meters before the turn to Char Dukan, on the right-hand side.
