There's no separate accommodation for domestic help or driver of the guest. There is a separate toilet and bathroom outside the home, though.

Free parking is available onsite.

Is the villa suitable for a day picnic?

Yes, the home has a lawn area, a pool that makes it ideal for a day outing. Meals will be provided on site at an additional charge (per person, per meal). Please note that the maximum capacity for an overnight stay is 9 people. During the day, guests will be allowed to use the washrooms and other amenities at the villa.

What is the type of cuisine served?

We provide healthy home-cooked meals prepared using locally grown and sourced fresh ingredients. Enjoy organic veg meals mostly prepared using home-grown pulses, wheat and veggies. The caretaker can also prepare non-veg meals in a separate kitchen. Enjoy traditional Maharashtrian and North Indian fare prepared by our in-home cook. Fish and mutton dishes (subject to availability) can be served at an additional cost, which is payable at actuals.

Is outside food allowed? Are we allowed to cook ourselves?

No, outside meals are not allowed. Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen.

Do you allow us to stock things in your fridge?

Yes, we have 2 separate refrigerators for veg and non-veg, which can be used to store food/ beverages.

Can I pay the caretaker some extra money and request the Cook to prepare fish or mutton dishes for us?

Yes. In case you would like the caretaker to cook a special dish, you can pay him for the actuals and cooking, cleaning fee on site, in cash. Please note that this will be subject to availability of ingredients.

Is there an aquaguard for drinking water supply? Do we need to carry our own Mineral Water bottles or are these readily available at your villa?

Yes, there is a steady mineral water supply.

Is Alcohol allowed? Are there any corkage charges?

Yes, alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. There are no corkage charges.

Is smoking / alcohol consumption permitted?

Yes, smoking is allowed but strictly not inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside in the lawn area. Alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. We do not encourage late night revelry or loud music.

What are the Check-in & Check-out timings? May I request for late check-outs or an early check-in?

Check-in time at 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we need to ready the rooms for our next booking. Guests are requested to respect the timing of other guests as well. In case you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us at the time of booking. Additional charges will be applied.

What formalities are needed during check-in and check-out?

As required by law, all adults have to provide their government-approved Photo IDs (that clearly show their residential address) at the time of Check-in. Your co-operation is of utmost importance to us.

How do we reach your villa by public transport?

From Pune Swargate Bus Depot Take a Bus for Velhe. Get Down at Kodawadi Phata. Alternatively take a Bus for nasarapur and From Nasarapur one can a get a share Rikshwa For Kodawadi.

What is the cancellation policy?

HERE" > A Guest is entitled to a refund of 75% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 15 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM). A Guest is entitled to a refund of 50% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 7 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM) If the Guest cancels within 7 days of the Date of Check-In, he/she is entitled to no refund.

Can I pay 50% now and pay the remaining 50% closer to the date?

Unfortunately, there is no option for part payment. Guests are required to pay 100% of the payment before check-in.

How can I make a payment?

Once you have chosen your dates and your booking has been accepted, you will receive a payment link where the payment can be processed. In case you're unable to make an online payment through the link, you could also deposit the cash in our bank account directly. We also offer other options like PayTM, NEFT/IMPS or UPI.

How and when do I pay for the Security Deposit and how and when is it returned to me?

Security deposit of Rs. 15,000 is to be paid two days prior to check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned during check-out itself or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out.

Does SaffronStays accept cash payments?

No. All payments for booking the villa, including meals, will have to be pre-paid prior to check-in. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth. Please note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.

How many extra mattresses can be provided?

Every bedroom has an extra single bed. Our home has adequate bed sheets, blankets and pillows for the same.

What type of beds, mattresses do you have?

Our bedrooms have lovely king-sized beds. All our mattresses have mattress protectors.

Do you provide toiletries and bath towels?

Yes, we provide toiletries like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and towels.

Is the Home air-conditioned?

All of our bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Is there Internet/ 3G/ WiFi connection available onsite?

There is a Jio Dongle. There is adequate network connectivity, if not 3G then 2G.

Does the villa face frequent power outages? Are there any invertors or gensets to address this issue?

Yes, we have a backup inverter in case of rare occasions of power failure. Guests are requested to switch off the ACs during power outages as it consumes more power.

Is there a security guard / watchman?

Yes. There is a caretaker onsite.

Are the premises monitored using CCTVs?

Yes, there are 7 CCTV cameras covering all the sides and common areas. Private bedrooms and bathrooms are not monitored.

Can stray dogs enter the premises?

No, the home is within a fenced area. However, should a stray dog enter, inform the caretaker and he will address the issue.

Is the property properly fenced? Is there a boundary wall?

The total farm of 6.5 acres is fenced. Home is not fenced separately.

Is there First-aid kit available at your Home?

Yes, we do have a first-aid kid onsite, stocked with Dettol, band-aids and over-the-counter medicines like Metacin, Crocin etc.

Is the villa and its surroundings well lit up?

The villa is well lit up. There is enough lighting even in the surrounding areas i.e lawns, grounds.

Coming from Mumbai Take a Bypass on Mumbai Pune Highway At Dehuroad and Reach Directly to Katraj and continue on Mumbai Bangalore Highway. From Pune Head Towards South on Bangalore highway. On Mumbai - Pune - bangalore Highway at about 35 km from Pune, take a Right turn under the Over Bridge at Cheladi Phata/ Nasarapur. From This T Junction Proceed towards Velhe. At around 11 km from Nasarapur, take a left Turn at T Junction for Village Kodawadi. Kodawadi is 4 km from this T junction. In Kodawadi Village follow the road till you reach ISKCON Temple. Niramay is clearly visible on the hill opposite ISKCON Temple. Take a left turn after the temple to reach the property.

Is this home child-friendly?

Yes, our Home is child friendly. There is plenty of space to run around. There is also a basic first-aid kit, stocked with Dettol, band-aids, etc., for minor injuries. Parents are advised to be cautious when allowing kids to run around.

Is this home senior citizen friendly?

The access road to the home is a bit patchy. There are 3 steps to enter the home. There is 1 bedroom on the ground floor, which can be easily accessed by seniors. The room has a private bathroom.

Is the place pet-friendly?

No, this is not a pet-friendly home. Pets are not allowed in the pool.

What can we do for fun around the property?

Go trekking to the hill behind the home and catch panoramic views of the Bhatghar Dam. If you love fort trekking, the home is located close to the Torna and Rajgad Forts. During monsoons, go on a long drive to Madhe Ghat and catch spectacular views of the waterfall. Head over to the Gunjwani Dam where you can go boating.

Is there a pool and what's the depth/ length of the pool?

Yes, there is a private pool. Pool timings are between 9 am to 7 pm. As there is no lifeguard on hand, guests are advised to be cautious (especially around kids) and to refrain from swimming late at night. Our pool is available for poolside parties. However, we recommend keeping alcohol, food and glass bottles away from the pool to avoid accidents. The depth of the pool is 2.5 - 5 feet.

No, you cannot book just one room. You would need to book the entire home.

Meals are available at an additional of charge of 1200 (veg) and Rs 1300 (non-veg) per adult, per day and Rs 800 (veg) and Rs 900 (non-veg) per child, per day and must be paid online at the time of booking. Barbeque can be arranged at an additional charge of Rs.500 per head. (Excluding GST) Outside meals are not allowed in this home. Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge.

Given the location of our home, playing loud music is allowed within limit and during specific time/ hours. Guests are requested to respect our neighbors and keep the noise level mild and within the villa.

The approach road is made of asphalt and has some potholes.
