The place is too good. Must b more scenic in monsoon. Caretaker santosh n janvi very friendly. Always pleasant smile on face. Food was tasty . Little bit lonely for a Medical emergency . One vehicle must be parked in the property for emergency with proper person who can drive. One suggestion the big trees can be named with a name plate by making proper landscaping. Enjoyed a lot leaving aside the regular hustle bustle.
Overall a good experience but this property scores very low on 'value commensurate with cost'. Given the very modest infrastructure and basic surroundings, the prices need to be cut by 30-40%
Beautiful accommodation. Very relaxing & brings you close to nature. Staff is very cooperative & friendly. Food quality & taste is really good. Level of hygiene maintained in accommodation & in kitchen is really good. Totally loved the place.
Mr and Mrs waghmare caretaker solely take care of the property and are very warm. Both sanjay and dipika took very good care of us like a family!!
Good experience. Satibitization can be improved
We loved the place, the greenery and the silence.
Good food, good people. Difficult to reach due to bad roads, rest is alright.
Excellent service, the food was very tasty. Staff is very good and friendly.
Less than 2 hours of driving distance from mumbai, mangohuts is ideal for a relaxing weekend with friends and family. Go to this place to unwind..away from 3G/4G world. The rooms are neat and clean with all basic ammenities available. Ms surekha cooked delicious food while mr sanjay (the caretaker) looked after us very well and made everything available. We definitely recommend this place for a spending a weekend with friends or family.
This place is different as the name suggests its a hut. Its slightly off the road and does not have anything close by. It can be very quiet. We had a two day stay, in which we really did not want to do a lot of touristy site-seeing, but good time with family. We loved it as a family as kids got to play with fish in the stream & trek a small hillock. We rarely went inside the huts. Food was homemade and freshly cooked for all meals. There were slight issues with the food as we could not have fish even once. This was a regret in our family as we love fresh water fish and can see so many swimming nearby ! I was told its difficult to catch and it being a long weekend, difficult to get in market. But chicken was great and different in every meal. Sweets could have had variety especially as jalebis of day 1 gave a stale taste, gulab jamuns of day 2 were better. Veggies were awesome in each meal. Considering it was just one lady running the kitchen, we were very well taken care of. B
We had a v relaxing & rejuvenating experience in the Mango Huts. The staff of SaffronStays as well as the caretakers were wonderful. I would like to visit the place as well as the other SaffronStays properties again
We completely enjoyed the stay, the location was exactly what we wanted it to be i.e. full of greenery, quietness and away from the city noise. The caretakers were cooperative too. This was a perfect holiday home. Looking forward from Saffron Stays for more such holiday homes.
This is a beautiful property located near Pali, abt 3 odd hours from Mumbai. The roads are decent most of the way barring the last few kilometers where they are quite bad (maybe the monsoon effect). The property itself is done up very well, with nice landscaping, walkways, trees & all. The kids enjoyed making paper boats in the streams. There are 4 dogs, who are quite friendly with children and happy to be patted. The rustic cottages are also comfortable with a/c and decent washrooms. Wish the lighting is brighter, as it gets bit dim after dark. The food is simple home-cooked style served hot. I think there can be some more choice to cater to fussy eaters who may want variety. Poha and upma for breakfast was nice, some eggs and toast would have been welcome. The caretakers at the property are very helpful and responsive to all requests. but it is best to stock up on wafers, biscuits etc as the nearest store is be quite a distance away The owner is very friendly and helpful
