There is plenty of space to run around and many indoor activities that will keep your children occupied. Since SaffronStays believes that holidays are about families bonding, we do not have any TV in our Homes. The home has instead been stocked with board games such as Life, Monopoly, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis and Darts. There is also a basic first-aid kit, stocked with Dettol, band-aids, etc., for minor injuries. Parents are advised to be cautious when allowing kids to run around.
Yes, our home is senior citizen/elderly friendly.
The home has 5 bedrooms on the ground floor with a small set of steps that can be comfortably climbed. The 6th room is on the first floor. All the bedrooms have private bathrooms, again easy to access at night without any supervision. All our bathrooms have anti-skid surface.
Upon special request, our caretakers can prepare Low Salt/ Low Spice/ Low Fat/ Low Sugar for senior citizens. These requests should be informed at the time of booking.
In case of a medical emergency, the caretaker has the numbers for doctor-on-call or ambulance service-on-call. The home is ambulance accessible.

HERE" > A Guest is entitled to a refund of 75% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 15 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM).
A Guest is entitled to a refund of 50% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 7 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM)
If the Guest cancels within 7 days of the Date of Check-In, he/she is entitled to no refund.
Unfortunately, there is no option for part payment. Guests are required to pay 100% of the payment before check-in.
All payments for booking the villa, including meals will have to be pre-paid prior to checkin. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth.
Please note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.

Given the location of our home, playing loud music is allowed within limit and during specific time/hours. We have speakers with a USB port onsite, so you could attach your phone, pendrive to the music system.

Yes, smoking is allowed but strictly not inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside in the garden/lawn area.
Alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. We do not encourage late night revelry or loud music.
Check-in time at 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we need to ready the rooms for our next booking. Guests are requested to respect the timing of other guests as well. In case you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us at the time of booking. Additional charges will be applied. Late check-out charges includes meals (lunch).
As required by law, all adults have to provide their government-approved Photo IDs (that clearly show their residential address) at the time of Check-in. Your co-operation is of utmost importance to us.

- Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.

- Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.
- As required by law, every guest above 18 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.
- Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.

Stay was very good. Staff took good care. Processes are too stringent though, the local management should have more flexibility. Also a-la carte menu instead of an inflexible food package would be useful

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The location of Athaang is incredibly good, I think this place it’s a treasure of Dapoli and has the BEST VIEW EVER. it is so very peaceful and tranquil out here. We went there to destress and the outcome was even better than what we expected.. The mornings here are so beautiful, but the sunsets are just extraordinary.. The hotel is strategically located and you can sit out on their benches overlooking the ocean and enjoy the night sky and stars… The kitchen and the restaurant and the service is one of the best things at Athaang after the view. The Pomfret and the prawns were really fresh and we loved the bhakri, along with the dal and and other food which was so tasty wholesome and homely… the rooms are clean well maintained and to be honest we only went in to sleep because the property is just beautiful! Thank you saffron stays and staff at Athaang for bringing me peace. Can’t wait to return

We had a amazing experience at this lovely villa. The food here is delicious and worth mentioning. Kudos to the chef! We had traditional Konkani dishes and Mr. Pranay who works in their restaurant, provided great service. Mr. Anup, the manager, ensured that we have a pleasant experience and upgraded us to the sea facing room on discovering air conditioning issues with our original room. The view from which was beautiful. Overall, a great option for a weekend getaway!
