A fabulous home right in the lap of nature and the staff-karan and mishraji & all the helpers-make it even more special. Its kid friendly and gives them a lesson in minimalistic living and coexisting with flora and fauna…reconnecting us all to device free, simple way of living.
Beautiful house, very comfortable and not too far from Mumbai. We travelled with our baby and it was quite a perfect rainy monsoon holiday. The swimming pool is really nice to relax in and clean and well maintained so we even felt comfortable taking our baby to the pool. The rooms are nice and made in a way that each room offers a beautiful view to wake up to. The entire house gives a feeling of greenery and openness because of the large balcony and garden that the living room opens up to and the huge windows in the rooms. The property even has little nature walkways which gives the feeling of a mini hike. The cook and caretaker were also great and the food was simple but yummy. The wifi works reasonably well (except for heavy rains) so wfh is also possible for the most part. The only downside was that we felt that 1 cook was not sufficient for a large group of people and perhaps a cooking helper (in addition to the caretaker) would have been good especially for bigger groups. Also, while the food description says fish and mutton can be ordered at additional cost, at the property we were told that mutton isn't allowed in the property at all. Also given the location, availability of even basic food items (fruits etc.) sometimes is a challenge unless procured in advance. All in all a great place to relax and enjoy the monsoon.
Lot of open spaces. Very well maintained property and professionally managed. Staff was very helpful, especially the caretaker Manoj whi was always around for even the smallest of our requests. He also went that extra mile in taking my kid to the nearby hospital when he got hurt. Thanks Manoj.
Dear Rishikesh, Thanks for taking out the time to review us. We are so pleased to know that you had a wonderful time and enjoyed the villa and its surroundings to the fullest. Glad to know that our onsite staff met your expectations; we pride ourselves on them. Hope your kid is better and that you give us another chance to host you and your loved ones :)
It’s a beautiful place. The living room opening in to the garden is stunning. The property is well maintained. The staff Manoj is so patient and sweet. Loved the trip around the farm. Only thing that could be better is Air Conditioners in the living room as it’s too hot during the day.
Dear Devina, Thank you for taking out the time to review us. We're glad you had a pleasant stay. Also pleased to know that our on-site staff lived true to our repute - that of serving guests with warm hospitality. As for your point of installing an air-conditioner in the living room, most of our guests either head to the pool during the day or enjoy keeping the windows open in order to have some open, breezy time. We hope you give us another chance to host you and your loved ones.
The on-site caretaker team of Manoj Gole and his mom was extremely polite and helpful. The meals were delicious although we would have liked to see variety (not just Maharashtrian) in the food. Some negative points - There was construction work going on when we were at Anantya. We had been assured that this would not affect our stay or privacy. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The construction workers were right outside the villa and going back and forth and on a couple of occasions we also found them looking in (from a distance) while they were on their break. There was also noise from the construction activity. Definitely, not a pleasant feeling! The Saffronstays booking experience was far from satisfactory! Within a few hours of booking the villa, we were told it was now unavailable for that time period. This was during the peak holiday season when places get booked very quickly and definitely caused anxiety. Very unprofessional. Anyway, it got sorted out later. The booking platform asks for details which may not be available or may be something one does not want to share (in case of minors). There is no way to work around this issue and makes for an extremely unpleasant booking experience.
We had a great holiday at Anantya. The place is just awesome - well maintained, very tastefully done up. The food was homely and extremely tasty. The service was top notch.
Very good villa. Very well maintained. Excellent service especially by Manoj, he is extremely helpful and coordinating.. Very well prepared food. Support staff was also superb. All rooms were very well maintained.. Best place to visit once again :D
It has been 5 months since the lockdown & COVI-19 in the world. After all the time we finally came to SaffronStays Anantya for a weekend to relax and spend time together as friends. It has been one of the most amazing experiences to have stayed at this wonderful property, the staff is truly the people who have made this stay unforgettable. Manoj has been one of the most amazing members of the staff to have taken care of all us so amazingly with exceptional service & great food by Maushi. We are truly overwhelmed by giving us such an unparalleled experience. Thank you :)
