Yes, the home has a private pool, lush green lawns within the premises that are suitable for picnic.

Can I reserve your place for special functions such as engagement ceremony, a small wedding ceremony or a birthday party, etc?

Yes, we do allow events/shoots at the villa, subject to Home Owner's approval.

Is Driver and/or House-Help accommodation available?

No we don't provide accomodations for Drivers at the property

Is parking available onsite or nearby?

Free parking is available onsite for up to 4 cars.

Is Alcohol allowed? Are there any corkage charges?

Yes, alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. There are no corkage charges.

Is outside food allowed?

No, outside meals aren't allowed.

Are meals provided onsite? What are the charges?

Meals can be availed at an additional cost. The charges for veg and non-veg meals are as follows: For adults: (per person) Indian: Rs. 1,500/- Chinese: Rs. 1,800/- Continental: Rs. 2,000/- For kids: (per person) Indian: Rs. 800/- Chinese: Rs. 900/- Continental: Rs. 1,000/- The above charges are excluding taxes. Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge.

What is the type of cuisine served?

We offer authentic, home-fresh meals. We have a standard menu and our Care Team rep will help you craft the perfect combination once you have booked your stay. Please do share your meal preferences and dietary requirements, if any, when the team reaches out to you.

Is there an aquaguard for drinking water supply? Do we need to carry our own Mineral Water bottles or are these readily available at your villa?

Yes, we have a steady supply of filtered drinking water.

What are the Check-in & Check-out timings? May I request for late check-outs or an early check-in?

Check-in time at 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we need to ready the rooms for our next booking. In case you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us at the time of booking. Additional charges will be applied.

What formalities are needed during check-in and check-out?

As required by law, all adults have to provide their government-approved Photo IDs (that clearly show their residential address) at the time of Check-in. Your co-operation is of utmost importance to us.

Is smoking / alcohol consumption permitted?

Yes, smoking is allowed but strictly not inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside in the garden/lawn area. Alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. We do not encourage late night revelry or loud music.

Are we allowed to access all areas?

Yes. Guests are allowed to access all areas. Guests are strictly prohibited from crossing into neighbouring properties under any circumstances. We request our guests respect the privacy and personal space of our neighbours.

How do we reach your villa by public transport?

Property can be reached by jetty from Mumbai's Gateway of India to Mandwa Port. The same jetty service company also has a bus, which will drop you at Awas Phata.

If I'm driving, will there be any toll fees applicable?

Yes. Please note that toll charges are subject to change, depending on the authorities and the type of vehicle. Guests are requested to carry sufficient cash to cover the toll charge.

Are stag groups allowed to book this home?

No. We do not allow stag groups to book this home.

What is the cancellation policy?

A Guest is entitled to a refund of 75% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 15 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM). A Guest is entitled to a refund of 50% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 7 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM) If the Guest cancels within 7 days of the Date of Check-In, he/she is entitled to no refund.

How can I make a payment?

Once you have chosen your dates and your booking has been accepted, you will receive a payment link where the payment can be processed. In case you're unable to make an online payment through the link, you could also deposit the cash in our bank account directly. We also offer other options like PayTM, NEFT/IMPS or UPI.

How and when do I pay for the Security Deposit and how and when is it returned to me?

A security deposit of Rs. 5,000 per room is to be paid online two days prior to the check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned after check-out within 5 business days by NEFT.

Can I pay 50% now and pay the remaining 50% closer to the date?

Unfortunately, there is no option for part payment. Guests are required to pay 100% of the payment before check-in.

Can I redeem any offers while booking this home?

Yes. Members can redeem their nights, utilise their privileges and avail any offers while booking this home.

Does SaffronStays accept cash payments?

No. All payments for booking the villa, including meals, will have to be pre-paid prior to check-in. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth. Please note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.

Do guests have to pay extra for pets?

Yes. Guests have to pay Rs 800 per pet, plus extra for meals, if requested.

Are pets allowed inside the room?

Yes. Pets are allowed in the bedroom, but not inside the bathroom. Guests must be responsible for their pets and any damage caused to the property shall be deducted from the Security Deposit.

What facility do you provide for pet hygiene?

Pet parents must clean up themselves. We have a water outlet outside each room to wash off any sand or mud from a pet, along with a towel. Guests are requested to carry their own medication for the pets. No bathing facility for pets is provided for pets in our homes.

Do you provide toiletries and bath towels?

Yes, we provide toiletries like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. along with towels.

Is the Home air-conditioned?

Yes, all of our bedrooms are air-conditioned, including the living room.

Does the villa face frequent power outages? Are there any invertors or gensets to address this issue?

Yes, we have a backup 25 KVA Genset in case of power failure. Guests are requested to switch off the ACs during power outages as it consumes more power.

Is there Internet/ 3G/ WiFi connection available onsite?

Yes, the villa has a WiFi connection with a 30 mbps speed. There is adequate network connectivity, if not 3G then 2G.

How many extra mattresses can be provided?

7 extra mattresses can be arranged onsite. Our home has adequate bed sheets, blankets and pillows for extra bedding.

What type of beds, mattresses do you have?

Our bedrooms have lovely king-sized beds.

Is there a security guard / watchman?

Yes. The home is located within a gated complex. There's also a caretaker onsite.

Can stray dogs enter the premises?

No, the home is within a fenced area. However, should a stray dog enter, inform the caretaker and he will address the issue.

Are the premises monitored using CCTVs?

Yes, there are CCTV cameras installed in common areas. Private bedrooms and bathrooms are not monitored.

Is there First-aid kit available at your Home?

Yes, we do have a first-aid kid onsite, stocked with Dettol, band-aids and over-the-counter medicines like Metacin, Crocin etc.

Is the property properly fenced? Is there a boundary wall?

Yes, our home has a stone wall surrounding the premises.

Is the villa and its surroundings well lit up?

The villa is well lit up. There is enough lighting even in the surrounding areas i.e lawns, grounds.

From Mumbai-Goa Highway, head north on NH 66. Take Nagothane Pezari Road and MIDC Pipe Line Road to NH166A in Pezari. Turn right onto MIDC Pipe Line road and continue onto Shreegaon - Medekhar road. Turn left at RENEO ENERGY onto NH166A and continue on Thal Road, at the end of this road you will reach Kankashwer phata then take right to Awas phata from Awas phata take left on right hand side your destination.

Is this home senior citizen friendly?

Yes, our home is elderly friendly. The home has 4 bedrooms on the ground floor, which can be easily accessed by senior citizens. Please note - there are 5 steps leading to the villa.

Is this home child-friendly?

Yes, our home is child friendly. There is plenty of space to run around and many indoor activities that will keep your children occupied. The home has been stocked with board games such as Life, Monopoly, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis and Darts. There is also a basic first-aid kit, stocked with Dettol, band-aids, etc., for minor injuries. Parents are advised to be cautious when allowing kids to run around.

Is the villa wheelchair accessible?

No, our home is not wheelchair accessible.

Is the place pet-friendly?

Yes. Guests have to pay Rs 500 per pet, plus extra for meals, if requested.

Is there a pool? and what's the depth/ length of the pool?

Yes, there is a large private pool within the complex where you could head for some downtime. Pool timings are between 8 am to 8 pm. As there is no lifeguard on hand, guests are advised to be cautious (especially around kids) and to refrain from swimming late at night.

Is there a beach close by and is it clean and safe?

Explore the pristine coast of Alibaug at Mandwa beach (4.8 km), Sasawane beach (4.3 km), and Awas beach (2.8 km). The tides are safe, but we recommend you enjoy the waves from a distance post-sunset.
