If you're driving down from Mumbai, take Mumbai-Pune Expressway and continue along until you see a large sign for Ginger Hotel on your left. Exit the highway on the left and take the first right under the flyover. Take the left-most lane, towards Hinjewadi and continue until you reach Lavasa. From the promenade, cross the bridge near Fortune Hotel, turn right and then take the first left next to the citizen centre. Keep going up the hill towards Hill Street until you reach the villa.
Yes, our home is child friendly. The villa is well-stocked with board games such as Monopoly, UNO, Twister, etc. that both kids and adults can enjoy. There is ample space around the villa for kids to run around and a first-aid kit has been placed in the villa for minor injuries.
Yes, our home is senior citizen friendly. The home has 4 bedrooms (two on the ground floor and two on the first floor). The ground floor bedrooms are easily accessible to seniors. Both the rooms have private bathrooms with anti-skid surfaces attached, easy to access at night without any supervision. Please note that there are a couple of steps at the entrance to the villa. In case of a medical emergency, the caretaker has the numbers for doctor-on-call or ambulance service-on-call. No, there is no cook available. Guests will have access to a gas stove and the kitchen at an extra charge of INR 500 per day for gas and cleaning fees. This will need to be paid to the onsite caretaker in cash at the end of your stay.
A guest is entitled to a refund of 50% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking 15 days or more before the start of the reservation. If the Guest cancels less than 15 days before start of the reservation, he/she is entitled to no refund. Guest Fees paid/ payable to SaffronStays are non-refundable. A reservation is considered officially 'canceled' ONLY when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find under Dashboard > Your Trips > Cancel on our website. If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to SaffronStays within 24 hours of check-in. SaffronStays will mediate when necessary and Guest and Host are required to extend their full co-operation. SaffronStays has the final say in all disputes.
Unfortunately, there is no option for part payment. Guests are required to pay 100% of the payment before check-in.
Once you have chosen your dates and your booking has been accepted, you will receive a payment link where the payment can be processed. In case you're unable to make an online payment through the link, you could also deposit the cash in our bank account directly. We also offer other options like PayTM, NEFT/IMPS or UPI.
All additional payments (such as extra meals, pet charges, etc.) will have to be paid to the caretaker onsite in cash at the end of your stay. In special circumstances, we do accept these payments through PayTM.
Security deposit is to be paid at the time of booking/ check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned during check-out itself or by NEFT within 2 business days after check-out.

Yes, smoking is allowed but strictly not inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside in the garden/lawn area. Alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. We do not encourage late night revelry or loud music.
Check-in time at 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we need to ready the rooms for our next booking. Guests are requested to respect the timing of other guests as well. In case you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us at the time of booking. Additional charges will be applied.

Yes. When you enter Lavasa city, there is a toll booth. Please note that toll charges are subject to change, depending on the Lavasa authorities and the type of vehicle. Guests are requested to carry sufficient cash to cover the toll charge.
The best way to reach Lavasa is by a private car. Should you intend on travelling by public transport, you could get down at Pune railway station / Pune bus stand and take a bus up to Lavasa city. Please note that finding transport from the main city to our home could be a challenge so guests are advised to hire a local taxi from Pune.
