3 Idiots

Based on the lives of 3 friends who meet each other in college, the movie takes a pragmatic approach on the reality of growing teenage years with studies,  family expectations, the rat race, falling in love and chasing dreams surrounding it. The nail-biting and yet delightful end is bound to leave you smiling and happy.


Chupke Chupke

A remake of a  Bengali film, this movie is a classic comedy from the 1970s, featuring stalwarts of the era, Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan and their sense of comic timing. The storyline revolves around a series of pranks and tricks played by a husband and his friend on his brother-in-law. The swachh hindi and simplicity will keep you laughing!


Do Dooni Chaar

Starring the evergreen couple, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, the movie brings back all the memories of our favourite school teachers and coaching classes. Portraying the struggles of a typical middle-class Indian household, this comedy/drama shows a father going above and beyond to make ends meet for his family.


Munnabhai MBBS

A movie with so much heart, that still has us laughing with the fantastic duo of Munnabhai and Circuit. It portrays the hilariously heart-warming journey of a local goon who’s set out to be a doctor, but actually gives jappis and teaches kindness while at it.


Chak De! India

Indians love sports and SRK! Bring them both together and we have Chak De India.  A movie about a former coach who trains the Indian girls’ hockey team to the finals of the world cup when everyone else had given up on them. 


Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Based on a true story, the movie pivots on the life of an Indian runner who aims to be a world champion; the obstacles and set-backs he faces through his journey to become one of most renowned athletes of all time.


Sholay

A classic masala film with bandits, villagers and Gabbar Singh, the plot revolves around a retired policeman teaming up with 2 convicts, to bring justice to a village troubled by a goon. Years later, we still find ourselves chuckling and remembering the very famous one-liner: Kitne aadmi the?


Mr. India

Centered on Arun, a kindhearted man who uses his father’s inventions to protect a home of orphans from the dangerous dacoits of the underworld. This movie had us believing in magic, masti and the timelessness of good winning over evil. Regarded as a cult classic with some of the finest actors of all time, watching and re-watching it never gets old!


Amar, Akbar, Anthony

Packed with unending entertainment, the movie focuses on the lives of three brothers who are separated at birth and raised in different religious households. Reuniting years later, the three set out to get back at the one who separated them, find themselves and have fun while doing it all. With devastating separations and delightful reunions, the movie riles up on all the feels!


Khoobsurat

‘Saare niyaam tod do, niyaam pe chalna chhod do”

A classic, thought-provoking movie that takes a stab at societal expectations and stereotypes, the movie is based around a family ruled by a strict matriarch  and the chaos that follows as the  daughter-in-law changes the rules.
